Melodifestivalen 2012 Review: Andra Chansen
Hello, this
is gonna be the first time I’ll talk about any “Andra Chansen” so far…
I’m gonna
talk about it by groups, the first two duels and semi and then, the other two
and the second semi, because I think it’s more easy in that way. Here I go…
DUEL 1:
DYNAZTY – “THE LAND OF BROKEN
DREAMS” VS TOP CATS – “BABY DOLL”
Dynazty’s
song is power, in my post about their Deltävling (semi) I wrote, I like this
kind of songs and groups because it rules hahahahaha… But, we’re living a kind
of “want to live retro” in our present and Top Cats’ rockabilly was more and
they defeated Dynazty’s rock tune. Top Cats became in the first semifinalist of
1s semifinal.

DUEL 2:
ADREAS JOHNSON – “LOVELIGHT”
VS TIMOTEIJ – “STORMANDE HAV”
I wanted
both in the final, but mister Björkman (Melodifestivalen’s producer) fixed
everything to do not let them be in the final.
Andreas’
song was kinda great! I love his cool song, that makes you happy and he has a
great voice, but Swedes are tired of them and send him home.
Timoteij’s
song was good but not great, even though, they reached the first semifinal with
a good performance, I don’t know I could find a link or bow with their song
this time, despite of that I want them in Final! XD
SEMIFINAL 1
TOP CATS – “BABY DOLL” VS
TIMOTEIJ – “STORMANDE HAV”
A battle of
groups and both from Second Semifinal (Deltävling) 2; one with male members and
their rockabilly and the other one with girls and their folkpop music, well at
the end of the televoting both male and rockabilly won, and the 4 girls went
home.

AND NOW THE
GRUOP 2
DUEL 3:
THORSTEN FLINCK & REVOLUTIONSORKESTERN – “JAG RESER MIG IGEN” VS. LOTTA ENGBERG & CHRISTER SJÖRGREN – ”DON’T LET ME DOWN”
The battle
of old glories and schlager were held and the King and Queen of that genre were
defeat but our King of Eternety, the favourite Swedes’ vampire; Thorsten Flinck
XD
Last time
Queen and King of Schlager were by themselves went to the final, this time they
got back home.
DUEL 4:
SEAN BANAN – “SEAN THE FÖRSTE
BANAN” VS YOUNGBLOOD “YOUNGBLOOD”
Actually it
was the “young blood” duel, both acts were the new ones in running and the
soloist were the strongest one who came from Deltävling 1, Youngblood made it
to the Andra, just to fill up the spot, their song had nothing to do there,
horrible song! Of couse the winner was Sean Banan with his funny and full of
joy performance.
SEMIFINAL 2
THORSTEN FLINCK & REVOLUTIONSORKESTERN – “JAG RESER MIG IGEN” VS SEAN BANAN – “THE FÖRSTE BANAN”
Nordic
prince of the darkness vs Prince of Persian lands, both form the 2nd semifinal
most voted by Swedes, the most voted was the 4th. Ok, Nordic prince of the
darkness won this semi what let us clear who was the 3rd in their
semi, Thorsten Flinck, I use names just to have fun, I think Thorsten leaves
body and soul on stage and Sean Banan was a great contender because he is
really funny, something freak but really nice.
SO TILL GLOBEN
9th QUALIFIER: TOP CATS – “BABY
DOLL” from semifinal (Deltävling) 2.
10TH QUALIFIER: THORSTEN FLINCK & REVOLUTIONSORKESTERN – “JAG RESER MIG IGEN” from Semifinal
(Deltävling) 1.
