Hablemos de los peces gordos de Eurovision, los finalistas directos, esos que no miden fuerzas en las semifinales pero aún así pueden votar en ellas. Mi top 6 de los finalistas es el siguiente: 6. REINO UNIDO: SURIE - “STORMS” ¿Cómo la segunda potencia musical del mundo lo puede hacer tan mal en un concurso de canciones? Bien la respuesta a esa pregunta la da la delegación del Reino Unido para Eurovision. Es lamentable que nos traigan una canción tan básica que a pesar de un intento de mejora, no supera a canciones de pequeñas naciones como la de Macedonia. Surie tiene buena voz pero no una canción que logre hacerla destacar, de este grupo es sin duda la canción que se queda en el olvido. Lo más seguro es que le toque un buen lugar porque siempre que llevan algo regular les toca buena colocación. Es seguro que la canción la salva la cantante y eso evitará que queden 26 en la final. SWEDEN I’m a Swedish lover, but I cannot build a bridge with Bengtsson’s song, I know he has a great live show but I cannot stand the song itself. For me is not a winner, nor a top10 for Sweden. IRELAND It’s a nice 90’s-early-00’s ballad song, but I did not feel in love with it at first listening, 7th time winner of Eurovision is still lost for my taste despite I love its entries back in 2010, 2014 and 2015 ;). 26. Continúo con uno de los finalistas y quizás uno de los que siempre se espera mucho, pero se recibe poco.  REINO UNIDO - ELECTRO VELVET - STILL IN LOVE WITH YOU Este año, quien a nivel mundial es el 2º o 3º productor musical del mundo, nos lleva al pasado con sonidos modernos. Creo que es una canción con doble filo, puede estar en un top15 o de hecho quedar la última. El Reino Unido no va a ganar, hay canciones que te dicen “esta va a ganar” o “Esta lo va a hacer muy bien”, pero no es el caso de la apuesta Británica.  Lo que uno no entiende es, ¿Por qué si el Reino Unido goza de tanto prestigio como productor musical no gana Eurovision? La repuesta quizás la tenga la BBC, no hace lo necesario para ganar, si lo ha intentado (2009, 2011, 2013, 2014) pero no es constante, y así no funciona. Bueno, ha llegado el momento de hablar de todas y cada una de las canciones de la 59ª Edición de Eurovision 2014.   Copenhagen (En Español Copenhague, en danés, København /choebenja:un/) será la sede de la 59ª Edición del festival de la canción de Eurovision por 3ª vez en las 59 veces que se ha llevado acabo el concurso a través de casi toda Europa, esto será el 6, 8 y 10 de mayo próximo.   Como ya hay 6 canciones en la final, comencemos por el final entonces, si, por las canciones de la Final, que se llevará a cabo el 10 de Mayo.   Los Finalistas, son el grupo del Big5, las 5 naciones que más aportan financieramente a la EBU-UER (Unión Europea de Radiodifusión) y éstas son: Alemania, España, Francia, Italia y Reino Unido, más la arandelita del anfitrión, Dinamarca, que se ganó el derecho a llegar a la final directa por la gracia de haber ganado el concurso anterior, en su vecina y hermana Suecia. This year they’ve picked up the experienced voice and established artist like Mr. Engelbert Humperdinck, with a beautiful song, very easy to listen to where the voice of the singer is the main character of the song itself and with a meaningful message on it. Well known in the whole Europe, Humperdinck gives a great chance to the UK to get another top5 this year, or who knows, perhaps the winning luck as well. United Kingdom has won 5 times the ESC and it has the record of have been runner-up not less than 15 times.
