Eurovision 2012: Serbia

SERBIA: “NIJE LJUBAV STVAR” (LOVE ISN’T A THING) -  Ž ELJKO JOKSIMOVI Ć (SF2-01) It’s a “it’s not you, it’s me” song, I explain, Ž eljko has composed 3 eurovision songs previously with different flag, but all of them from the Balkans; “Oro” (Serbia 2008), “Lejla” (Bosnia – Herzegovina 2006) and my top favourite from him and sung by him “Lane Moje” (Serbia-Montenegro 2004). “Nije Ljubav Stvar” it’s a good song, but it doesn’t have an easy to remember title and from there it’s a kind of trouble to me. I can easily remember all the previous titles of his songs, but with this I have a kind of affair. Ž eljko has the fame to get a really great place in the final but he has to start the 2nd Semifinal and he is followed by another FYR, the Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia that for me can take a lot of votes from him, because I feel that the Macedonian song has an easily remember, it grows and it’s more powerful, the Kaliopi’s voice. The second semifinal of this year Eurovision ...

Melodifestivalen 2012 Review: Deltävling 2

After the BIG impression left by Loreen in her semi, it was hard not to compare the second one with the first, at least taking as mold the Loreen’s performance itself. But I personally I couldn’t find one as well as hers, perhaps, the one made by…. (keep reading) XD 07. Mimi Oh – Det g å r för l å ngsamt. R/= Last place I think it’s those kinda songs use to fill up a space or so, the song was good but not enough, she tried to do her best, but Swedes don’t want that old-fashioned style, at least not from her, sorry Mimi Oh, but all the best in your musical career ;). Maybe next time a better place will come J 04. Andreas Lundstedt – Aldrig, aldrig. R/= 7th place I can’t still believe Andreas didn’t make it, the song wasn’t that bad and he did a good job. Maybe he just played a burned card I wanna mean the “modern Schlager” that sounded quite alike to “Headline” to me, that it had a good result last...

And the winner in Cyprus is/was...

Well, Cyprus has decided and there was not surprise at all, the one pointed out from the beginning as the winner, was chosen the winner of “A song for Ivi” last night. Bien Chipre decidió y no hubo sorpresa alguna, la que apuntó desde el comienzo a ser la ganado, pues fue la elegida ganadora en “A song for Ivi” la noche anterior. (Since 2 weekends ago, my top1 favourite "Call the Police") For me, the Cypriot final was a kind of disappointed act, but lately, at night, a fan with years of knowledge on Eurovision, explained me about the fact of what Ivi didn’t perform live her songs and didn’t even change her outfit, or just maybe the CyBC, didn’t want her to influence the audience / televiewers to vote the song she wanted, singing badly the other ones. Para mí, la final Chipriota fue algo decepcionante, pero luego, en la noche, un fan con años de conocimiento sobre Eurovision, me explicó la razón por la cual Ivi no presentó sus canciones en vivo y ni...
