ESLOVENIA– “VERJAMEM”

“Creo”
Es una balada muy balcánica para ser Eslovena, es algo victoriosa, pero a la
vez suena a cuento de hadas, el comienzo me hace acordar un poco a las
canciones de Cenicienta, o de la princesa de Encantada o de “Shrek” XD La
letra es algo raro a mi modo de ver, mucho símil. La gran falencia es la falta
de fuerza de la intérprete a pesar de que la canta muy bien, a ella le falta
más entrega, expresión, fuerza en el canto; en pocas palabras, cantarla con el
corazón. Yo la veo pasando a la final, aunque veces no me gusta nada.
Eslovenia
partirá 9ª después del Trance Búlgaro y antes de la más somnífera canción de Croacia.

“I believe”
It’s a too balkanic song to be Slovenian, it’s victorious but at the same
time sounds like a fairytale, at the beginning it makes me recall to those
songs sung but the starring roles in "Cinderella", “Enchanté” or “Shrek” lol The lyrics are something
weird, there are a lot of simile or comparisons. The biggest flaw is on her
singer and her lack to express emotion during her interpretation, she has a
great voice, but she barely can make us feel what she is singing, she needs to
feel the song from the bottom of her heart so we can feel the passion and the
power of the song, but it’s hard for her to do that, at least on me. Even
though, it could be reaching the final placing 10th at last minute.
Slovenia
will show up on stage after the Bulgarian Trance and just before of the snoozy
song from Croatia.
