Melodifestivalen 2012 Review: Deltävling 3

Leksands Deltävling was held last Saturday and these were the results of that amazing Semi final, in this Swedish city ;)

02. MARIA BENHAJJI – “I MINA DRÖMMAR” R/= LAST PLACE

Beautiful song and very well performed by the only fact that was a webbjoker it plays against it, since the webbjoker contest was created, none of its winners has reached the Andra or the Final spot, that’s sad, the only near of that was Julie Alvgard when she placed 6^th last year in 4 semi final. Let’s see the Maria BenHajji’s career develop a little more and she could come back and advance a little more ;)

05. CAROLINA WALLIN PÉREZ – “SANNINGEN” R/= 7TH PLACE

I don’t know what it happens with the Latin names in Melodifestivalen, since long time ago, I can’t find an act qualified in a final with a Latin Last Name, well maybe Danny Saucedo counts XD (so the answer would be, since last year hahaha) I like this song, I thought it would be one of the chosen ones, but she only can get 7^th place. L

04. LOVE GENERATION – JUST A LITTLE BIT.  R/= 6 TH

Love Generation had not enough of love and “just a little bit” of votes were received by them, these 3 girls did a good job on stage, the song was good, but not enough for a final or an “Andra Chansen”, I don’t feel any connection with the song like it happened last year, not this year the song wasn’t that surprising like they were with their song “Dance Alone”. RedOne, you don’t have the formula for your own country; keep on conquering the rest of the world! XD

03. MATTIAS ANDRÉASSON – FÖRLÅT MIG. R/= 5 TH

According to the bookmarkers, he was 6th, but he defeated Love Generation and got the 5th place, he really did a good performance, but the song wasn’t enough for a ticket in the “Andra Chansen”, even though, it’s a good song to hear, he has a nice voice, but have him in the final would have worked for the Danny’s aspirations to win this year Melodifestivalen, you know, because of the fans of E.M.D. they would have been divided, so few votes for both, but now, Danny has a clear road to win… if the song deserves it, I’ll be happy, but if it doesn’t, I won’t!!!

ANDRA CHANSEN QUALIFIERS.

06. ANDREAS JOHNSON – LOVELIGHT. R/= 4 TH PLACE

It’s a cherry up song, as per usual from Andreas, he has made a good song, I love it since I heard the minute rehearsal. I think he can have big chance to be in the final… c’mon, we need a traditional cool vibe song in the final, even though it places 9^th or so. XD

01. YOUNGBLOOD – YOUNGBLOOD. R/= 3TH PLACE

I’d personally prefer to have Mattias Andréasson instead of these guys, they are a kinda update “Back street boys” but that formula is a kind of old-fashioned and a kinda annoying. The song, and the group didn’t get me at all, I don’t like them, Mattias or even Love Generation would have been a better option, but the Swedes chosen and they were the ones.

08. BJÖRN RANELID FEAT SARA LI – MIRAKEL. R/= 2ND PLACE

This song either you love it or hate it, many of my melodifestivalen’s friends or lover tend to hate it, I personally found it sort of interesting, but it’s clear to me that that song would be the last one in the final, ok, the man can be important in Sweden, but c’mon, can you imagine that song in Baku… hell not! Sweden nowadays, in the final list has great songs to send one like this.

07. MOLLY SANDÉN – WHY AM I CRYING? R/= WINNER.

She was GREAT!!! Molly has grown both as a woman and as a singer, her voice has grown, she has now a great chance to win even Melodifestivalen itself. Today, only Loreen can fight with her against that place, the other songs in the final are not enough strong, but Loreen’s is greater! I love Molly’s song and I hope she gets a top3 in the final ;). She really deserves it after her last place in 2009.

Wow it was the least voted from the 3 ones.

From 1 to 8, in the official drawn of this heat or semi of the Melodi, the last 5 songs, were the best so far… ok no, I’m just kidding, all the songs has something, but you can find some more enjoyable and interesting than the others in this past semi.

Let’s see what it brings us the last semi final, with all those great names and promising give us a lots of great songs that is exactly what we need at this point of this not so good melodifestivalen, but neither that bad show, this year. But I think it could have been better, maybe, the last year edition, where I could find so many great songs… That’s all
